On the 5th and 6th floors there are local and international food complexes and on the seventh floor a huge cinema, bowling, video games and various other restaurants including KFC, Vietnam Restaurant, Pizza, Japanese, Dessert and more, Also a 3D Museum complex.
The mall is not as prestigious as the other malls that we mentioned. Here at MBK, you can practice the art of bargaining, but keep in mind that the starting point of the products is relatively cheap. The mall is air-conditioned and it is great fun to come here and relax from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Please note that some of the products are original and some are an imitation, check, inspect and then buy.
No doubt you will need a few good hours to spend here, so basically, on every floor, you will find everything, food, fashion, electronics, etc. The outside market is small compared to other ones in Bangkok. The Second and Third floors are less dramatic, There are lots of shops and stalls, electronics, clothing, jewelry, shoes and more.
The Fourth Floor is a paradise for electronics enthusiasts, different gadgets, light bulbs, chargers, phones, repair stores and more,…. The Fifth floor of MBK shopping mall Bangkok has mainly cameras stores and everything related to it, included lens and covers, electronics stores, and home stores for companies like Samsung, Nikon.
The 7th floor may be more fun for kids and young people. A shop where you can fix your cell phones, buy cell phones, and more. Arrive on the fourth floor of the main staircase, take a few steps to the left, and then see the blue sign of City Phone.
General stores of clothing, Luggage, Toys, and more, some of course, from Japan. First floor shoes, cosmetics, luggage, underwear, and more, through this floor you can exit Enter to MBK or go outside to the outside market.
Here you can find light clothing, flip-flops, hats, and local food court also shakes stalls and different food stalls. You can grab a coffee there too. If the kids get bored of shopping, take them to the upper floors for bowling and games at the arcade; you can even try singing at the karaoke complex or go to the cinema.
Outside MBK, you'll find the staple line of tuk-tuks offering to take you back to your hotel, and taxis touting for business. You should know that tuk-tuks will overcharge if they can, and the taxis picking up foreigners here will try to charge a fixed price instead of turning on the meter — this is actually illegal.
But look, at the end of the day, if your legs are shot and your arms are full of bags, paying an extra Baht is no big deal — if it means getting back to the hotel a little quicker for a much needed chill.

Back in the States we have these outlet malls where you can find brand name clothes for cheap. Well, the Export shops stock up on brand name clothing themselves. Crew and Banana Republic. They even have these Tactical shirts and pants for sale on the racks. Other export shop selling similar brands but different styles are called XL for Men and 71 Imports. Because so many big name clothing companies use factories in Southeast Asia to produce their clothing line a lot of the overage ends up in shops like Export Shop inside MBK Mall at reduced prices.
Keep in mind, some of the clothing have slight defects. To me the prices of cameras are expensive in Thailand. Though prices for camera gears are very reasonable like tripods, camera bags and sometimes lenses. I think the better deals for the actual camera itself is back in the States. Anyways, if you lost your camera somehow and you need to buy a new one, I recommend heading to the ground floor of MBK near zone B. You can get a Tourist Vat Refund also when you buy something there.
So you can save a bit of cash as well. Camera Center on the 5th floor camera prices are not too shabby either if you really need to pick up cameras in Bangkok. They also offer a VAT refund as well. The ground floor has a lot of good deals too. Many tourists neglect the ground floor because most of them enter the shopping mall from the 2nd and 3rd floor. But the ground floor is where a lot of discounted clothes and accessories can be found too.
So be sure to walk around the ground floor. You just might end up with better discounts for clothes and other knick knacks. MBK has a total of 7 seven floors and you can check out the mall directory here.
But some are spread out on the upper floors too. And she seems quite happy. I should mention that MBK salon prices to local Thais are not exactly affordable. For local Thais if they want to get their nails done at prices they can afford, they go to malls like the One Park where Glamour Girls Nail Art Salon is located.
Or Union Mall for hair salons with services priced just right for Thais working hard for their money. If you checked out of your hotel early and decided to drop by MBK for last minute souvenir shopping, there is a luggage drop off service center on the 6th floor in Zone B, right next to Food Island Food Court. This service is provided by Airportels.
The counter is open from 10am to 10pm everyday.
