It was going from Hilliard, Ohio to Youngstown, Ohio about 3 hours away. Find More Posts by GoTribe!!! Originally Posted by thescout. Originally Posted by GoTribe!!! I'm not sure if it's coincidence or not, but I'm just happy it's on its way. Also, tracking appeared mere hours after I created a thread on the BlowoutCards. Another coincidence? Originally Posted by JohnAndrew. If it is actually showing up as missent that is a good thing.
A lot of times they postal workers will try to cover their butts and not scan a package when it gets missent, which is why there are big gaps in between scans. If it was lost of stolen it wouldn't show up either. Originally Posted by auctionjmm.

Recently just had a package scan in as missent too was a decently expensive item I sold on ebay for around Only a few days behind right now, expected destination is NY. Wanted to bump this, I recently had a package come back to me from April I think The label was completely ruined, couldn't read anything before I trashed it, my address was inside the package which I will assume is how they got it back to me Not able to track it obviously, so can't tell what it's journey was, but has anyone else here had that happen to them?
I contacted who I think was the buyer of the cards so that I can send them to him, but never had this happen before. The cards inside were fine because I packed them well but unbelievable that the package was somehow able to get back to me after all of that. December 15, , am. Where the confusion lies is what the receiving unit does next. If the receiving unit immediately scans the package as "Missent" and then cradles the scanner, the "Out For Delivery" notice will not appear.
If the receiving unit just scans all packages AAU , cradles the scanner and then moves on to other tasks which I believe most offices do and then comes back later to scan the package "Missent", then the tracking will show a Arrived At Unit, b Out For Delivery and c missent.
My best guess is that the package was correctly addressed and then mishandled by the USPS and sent to the wrong office. That is what I am thinking especially since there is no missent function when the scanner is set up for a carrier. Since it was scanned as missent and not as delivered the post office is aware of the problem. We have been getting missent pkgs every day at my office since the Christmas season began.
The address is correct, the pkgs are just ending up in the parcel bag for the wrong town. I imagine that you will get your pkg on Monday. I don't know the actual address the seller wrote Not retiring yet. From the original post, the pkg was not scanned attempted or delivered, only as missent so I'm guessing it is a USPS mistake.
